I Love Lucy Live On Stage Stars Recreate Famous Candy Scene at Boston Chocolate Store

The new show I Love Lucy Live On Stage recreates two classic episodes of the beloved TV sitcom at the Citi Emerson Colonial Theatre. Sirena Irwin and Carolynne Warren, who play Lucy and Ethel (respectively), ventured offstage to reenact one of I Love Lucy’s most iconic scenes. The episode titled “Job Switching,” features Lucy and Ethel at their new gig at a chocolate factory, which ends disastrously (of course). Irwin and Warren visited Phillips Candy House, Boston’s oldest chocolatier, to recreate the famous scene for a snapshot. Luckily, Irwin and Warren’s outing turned out to be sweeter than Lucy and Ethel’s experience at Kramer’s Kandy Kitchen. Check out this shot by Seacia Pavao Photography of the ladies with the Phillips staff and more. I Love Lucy Live On Stage runs in Boston through December 22.
